1996 Seadoo GSX

I recently inherited a 1996 Seadoo GSX which has not been used in a couple of years. I have changed the fuel,plugs and battery. It starts and runs not bad but It seems to be lacking power. It tops out at about 3500 rpms. Any help or suggestions on what else I could try would be greatly appreciated.
