I have a 1996 Seadoo GTX that I have been rebuilding. I swapped the motor from a wrecked hull into a good hull. When I first started the project and I did a compression test and got about 160 on each cylinder. When I got to the point of starting the ski I had no fuel pressure. I thought that my fuel selector valve might be bad so I bypassed it and also installed an after market filter. I have also rebuilt the Carbs and replaced the gray fuel lines and made sure that the pulse line is connected. There is still no fuel pressure. I'm suspecting that one of the seals in the engine might be bad or the pump might be messed up. I was wondering if there is a way to test the pump on the carb and the seals in the engine. I have had the ski run by directly pouring 40-1 two stroke fuel into the carbs. I have also primed the lines by using an air compressor and pulled the supply line off and made sure that fuel is coming out. Any help would be very much appreciated.
