I'm pretty sure the 1100 cc WV engines were all paired with the 155mm pump, and the smaller 760 cc engines with the 144. The 1100 engine should work with the 144 pump, but I suspect low end performance would be poor due to increased cavitation, unless you change the prop to something with more aggressive pitch. If you want to avoid the headache of finding a correctly pitched prop, then go with the 155.
