Hi guys, new to here. Hoping for some technical help. I have a 1997 Waverunner, it has developed a problem where it will idle & accelerate under light throttle but as soon as i give it a bit more throttle or have 2 people on it it starts to die. If i get off the throttle it will keep running or sometimes i have to play with the choke a little to keep it running. I have drained the fuel & oil and replaced with fresh. Changed both plugs. Still the same thing. It almost seems like it is starving for fuel. Does it have a fuel pump or filter? Anything i should be checking, sound like a common problem.
If it does stall out it will take a bit to get it going again.
Thanks in advance

Definately a carb problem. Pretty common on skis that they need carb cleanouts. They do have a fuel pump, one on those skis. Sometimes, if the ski has a big backfire when cold, it can blow holes in the check valves in the fuel pump causing it to run lean down low. Anyway, clean the carbs and check these things and you should be right. Pretty common.
