Hi, I am finally going to tackle my 2000 Yamaha 1200 Xlt with a bad third piston( my oil line fell off and that was that). I was going to take the motor out to get a good look at things, replace the bad cylinder and piston and the rings on all cylinders (had little over 100 compression on the first two cylinders and none on third). Should I do anything else that is somewhat easy with the engine out like carbs, seals, etc. Do I need all new gaskets. Ski has just over 100 hrs and was performing perfectly until the cylinder issue. I am no mechanic, but I can usually take things apart and put back together. Thanks for any help.
