I was wondering if anyone could tell me the ratio of oil to gas to use on a 2000 and/or 2004 yamaha xlt 1200. Also, am I best off using regular unleaded?

Thanks.

I usually go 50 to 1, beginning of the year/season I go 40 to 1. I'd stay away from Ethanol gas or use a good fuel treatment all the time.

50:1 , I use Amsoil full synthic. Don't use ethanol if you can help it. 1 gallon of 93octance ethonal = 120,000btu while one gallon of 87 octance = 220,000 btu. kinda like a firecracker compaired to dynamite.

I am looking at a 99 Gp 1200 . The oil injection pump is messed up . The guy pre mixes oil and gas directly . Is this a decent machine to buy??. The motor only has 25 hours after aftermarket rebuilt put in because of oil issue . Should I look elsewhere . Ski is in decent shape otherwise
