If you have lots of pages on your web site then providing a plain list of links will take up too much space. One option that will dramatically reduce the amount of screen real estate used for your links is to use a drop down list. This series of tutorials shows you how to create a drop down list and several different ways that you can use it for site navigation. If your number of links is too great for a drop down list then you may even want to look at just supplying the main pages in the list and make the drop down into a combo box so that your visitors can type in the page names if they are not listed.
