2002 polaris virageI HELP

I need some major help i have a 2002 polaris virage i. I have never had a problem with this ski has about 70 hrs on it. i started it up this season and it wont start. im getting nothing i replaced the battery and i replaced the starter sylanoid and i still get nothing not even a spark when i conect the battery. when i took the main positive cable and by passed the starter sylanoid i was able to hot wire it and it started and ran with out a prob so now im stuck and cant fig out why it wont start normaly.
Help please
