i just got a 2006 yamaha fx cruiser HO and took it out to the lake an it is only running about 30 mph but the motor is running fine and the rpm's at wot are 10,000 the machine has 76 hours on it could it possiably be the prop looking wear to start looking thanks.

Yes, if you are hitting 10000 rpms and only going 30 mph, you definitely have a problem with the pump. Is there cavitation when you rev it up? Check the clearance between the impeller and housing (should be between 0.35-0.45mm). Check the impeller for dents, etc.. In very rare cases, I've seen the splines strip on the drive shaft.

I took the prop out and the ends of the prop r pretty bent and one is really bad think its time for a new prop.
