Hi,
Twice I've got an overheating alarm, the engine and thermometer symbol, and goes into limp mode.
So I turn it off and turn it right back on and it goes away. I thought that was odd since if it was overheating it should still be hot. This only happens when I go over 50mph. If I'm in ECO mode it's ok.
I flushed the exhaust system after the first time.
How do I know if it's a false alarm or not? The dash doesn't show engine temperature.
Also I just rebuilt the supercharger but I don't see how that would have anything to do with a high temperature alarm. except if the coolant level is too low, I lost a lot when I pulled the t'stat out for access. The container is full and the level isn't dropping. How do I know if there is enough coolant?
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks
