Just picked up a used sl 650 from a kid who needed cash , said it ran but not great. He Wasn`t kidding, no accelation at all.. Checked compression 115 psi all three. Took the carbs off and the frist thing that i noticed was the fuel supply was the smaller restricted side of the plate. the return line is the larger opening.Is this right? I am used to working on sleds, differnt style carbs. I ordered complete kits and needles and seats for the carbs and would like to know any carb set ups does and don`ts for these things, like needle and seat tag hights, could make it rich or lean with hight adjustment , jet settings any info would be great... Thanks in advance...( Sea-level 0-1000 for jetting )
