I got this WBII 760 from a friend and Im trying to get it to run right. I have had the carbs done, new fuel filter, new gas, new plugs, and even a new CDI and it still acts up. It will crank fine and idle fine, but when you give it gas it bogs down when it approaches full throttle. I took the cover off the carbs and as I increase the throttle, gas seems to be spraying up out of the throat of the carbs as the rpms increase. Anybody have any ideas??

If fuel is spraying back through the carbs at higher rpms then it's the probably the reeds. It sounds like they are worn and aren't flapping closed quickly enough and allowing backpressure to flow through the carbs.

Pull the reeds off and measure the gap, I bet you'll find them out of spec.
