Hey, I'm thinking that my xl760 isn't giving me everthing that it could. I bought it used and I've only ever been able to get about 58 km/h (36 mph). I thought on the same model I rode before it was closer to 45 mph. Everything is stock, anyone know what the top speed of the 1998?

Actually i get on the GPS 66 kmph top speed.
As I have looke in a lot of forums that should be minimum spped for an 98 xl 760
Did you check compression, how much rpm do you get?
