folks, please , advise the best options to buy:
Yamaha FX 160 hp, 2007 or Kawasaki Ultra LX 160 hp, 2007.
both used in US , working hours :KAWA 6h, YAM 29h.
I heard a many scare stories about KAwasaki perfomance ,aftermarket etc.
So ,if anyone have an experience with a.m models , please, share your view on it.
Thanks!
:)

I've never ridden either model but I do know the Kawasaki Ultra is an excellent rough water hull. Many people had major problems with the supercharged 250 and 260x versions but the naturally aspirated version might be OK. :dunno:

Ernest knows alot about the 4 stroke Yamahas I'll let him chime in about the FX.

I presently own an 07 Ultra LX and it is fantastic. I've ridden Sea Doo's and a few yamahas and they are all fine. I have about 50 hours on mine and it has needed no work but yearly fluids and impeller changed, even the battery is the same as when I bought it. Also the ride is probably the best out there. A few times a year I take a several hour ride from Old town Sacramento to San Francisco and it gives a smooth solid ride. It's super hard to flip. All my friends love driving it because of how comfortable it is compared to their ski's. I would definitely by another one.
