Racing fever was in full force in Parker, Ariz., for the first two rounds of the American Power Boat Association National Tour. The five-event, nine-round series got off to a spectacular start on the Colorado River in May with some impressive talent and tight competition. Closed-course racers and teams from all over the world converged upon the BlueWater Resort and Casino-the host and title sponsor-to compete within 11 Pro-Am and Expert classes. Masters, novice and amateur racers hit the course as well.

MacClugage upped his game in Round 2, knocking Heindrich into second while Shawn Quemada earned an impressive third-place finish.
