When I disconnected my battery after my first season last fall I did not pay attention to the connections. I get the red positive and black negative but as you can see in the picture there is 3 connectors. Thoughts ? I don’t want to take a risk with trial and error.

Just trace each one and the one that goes to the engine ground is black. The other one should go to a starter solenoid.

Just trace each one and the one that goes to the engine ground is black. The other one should go to a starter solenoid which is the positive side of the battery. Ground is the negative side
