I did my maintenance today on my yamaha and put the water-resistant grease in the bearing housing as specified. My question is, "How much should i put in"? I read the manual and it said .20 to .27 oz. That doesn't seem like enough to me. I just bought it last year and it looks like it was very well taken care of but i am not sure if the previous owner greased the bearing housing as specified. Can i keep pumping grease in the bearing housing until i get backflow from the nipple or will that cause problems? Any advice will help. And because i am a new owner, any tips and tricks would be helpful. Thanks in advance.
