Can anyone tell me honestly what the best brand of PWC is. I have heard several stories to stay away from SeaDoo. I was looking at Kawasaki but I heard to look at Yamaha. Which is it?

It's all personal preference.
Ford put a trash motor in the early escorts, but that is no reason not to by a new ford.
A yamaha ridden by a 60 yr old female will probably outlast a seadoo ridden by a 19 yr old male. And a seadoo ridden by a 60 yr old female will probably outlast a yamaha ridden by a 19 yr old male.
Take care of what ever you get, and you should be fine.
Jeep, you hit the nail on the head. They all seem to now be very reliable. The best PWC is the one that closest matches your personal needs. I ride a Yamaha VX110, its a base model and is not the fastest or most nimble but it fits my needs. My requirements were value, range, stability and reliability. Good luck with your search and keep us posted.

u need to go test ride!
I would personally go with either a Yamaha or a Kawasaki. They are both very reliable skis and they are easy to find parts for and people to work on them. It depends on what you want to do as to what kind of ski you get. Are you considering a sitdown I presume? I have good things about both the Yamaha and kawasaki models.
I have owned both a Kawi STX-15F and a YAMA XTL 1200. Both were excellent boats. As far as cruising the Yamaha Hull is the better ride in choppy conditions. The Kawasaki impressive handling and awesome throttle response. Both very similar top speeds. Like the gentleman said it is all personal preference.
