I just put a reman engine in my yamaha gp1300r, someone told me i cant run it wide open or at the same speed for 20 hours! Is this true?

20 hours may be a little long but you want to let the engine break in until you go wide open for long periods of time. I would say maybe 1 or 2 tanks of gas taking the motor throughout the entire power band.
