Hey. I've never owned a jetski before, but I live on the coast where the water is brackish. Anyways I have a dock and to get to school would take about 5 to 6 minutes on a jetski, but it takes me an hour and a half to drive. I'm concerned that leaving the jetski in brackish water for 8+ hours a day may cause some damage. i don't care about long-term damage, as long it it lasts like 2 years or so. Are certain jetskis more durable in this sense than others, and what type would you guys recommend?

None of them are bullet proof left for long term in salty or brackish water, but in your case a SeaDoo with the closed loop cooling system may give you the longest life. I'd still recommend flushing it at the end of the day.
