Its a good ski, and that is a pretty good price if it includes all the dealer prep charges. No real problems with that model. Pretty fast at around 66-67 mph stock. Stable ride, and handles the chop well. Some of the original 08s had problems with a loose drive shaft, but they seem to have fixed it on later models. You may read of problems with the supercharger clutch, but that is only been an issue for guys that modified the ski to go faster.

Runs on regular gas, but only downside is that it does drink a lot of fuel. Burns around 18 GPH at WOT. See Boat Test Report: YamahaFX SHO (2011-)2011 Reviews, performance, compare, price, warranty, specs,Reports,Specifications Layout, video | BoatTEST.com

According to Boat Test.com it accelerates slow for a supercharged ski. But the price is fair. In the Chesapeake Bay area they say the FX Sho is all show and no go. All my supercharged skis will crush it. There is nothin worse than a poser performance ski
