Hi PWC'ers,

New to watercraft and would like to know if i can safely tow the 2 GP 1200R's I picked up behind a house boat. We would only be able to tow them maybe 15 miles an hour? or so. Any experience on this would be great.

I scored 2 2000 GP 1200R's 1 with 36hrs the other with 42hrs. They work perfectly so far. I knew nothing about pwc, but seem to have lucked out with a craft that offers great performance and is relatively up to date given how old they are.

Thanks in advance.

You cant tow them that fast without installing a tow tap. You can just buy an inline tap and install it on the line that connects to the rear of the exhaust manifold (main inlet). Make sure however, when you turn it off to tow, you always to remember to turn it on when you want to start the engine. A good idea is to tie your lanyard to it when its off so you physically have to get the lanyard off it before you start the engine. Towing them that fast and you run the rist of filling the engine with water.
