I am completely new to Jet Skis but I am well versed on engine repairs.

For some reason I am not able to locate the air filter on this 2 cycle 3 seater jetski. It belongs to my friend and I was encouraging him to replace the air filters.
When I went to have a look at it I couldnt find it. Weird. Its a 3 cylinder engine that has a large air intake running back to some metal cylinder on the left rear side of the unit. cant see beyond that.

Am I just blind? Or are they a weird shape and stuck in some cubby hole somewhere? :dunno:
I feel like an idiot asking this.... DONT TELL MY WIFE! I'll never live it down.

Not sure what exact machine you are talking about. No 2 cycle has an air filter, only a flame arrestor and they can be cleaned but usually they don't get plugged since they are wire mesh. I am thinking you are looking at the exhaust (water box) that is the metal can.
