Thanks for the response, the computer is shot and it seems to me that taking off the injectors with all of the sensors will eliminate the scores of electrical problems. I'm trying to keep the unit but I want it simple.
Well you'd still need to have a portion of the computer to run the spark and charge systems.
If you have the spark and charging under control then all you really need is some carbs. It might take some fabrication to make everything fit and work smoothly.
In the end you'll probably be cheaper to just find a used 1100DI computer.
From what I've heard this is a common problem with the 1100 Di's and unfortunatily the ecm's are not cheap from the dealer, you can also try Havasu Watercraft Connection, I don't have the number but you can get it on their site.
You might want to look into a 'Megasquirt' or some of the other aftermarket ecm's that are availible, they are being used on everything imaginable. There is at least one guy that I know of on the Megasquirt forum that's using one on a Sea-Doo and it was installed on an originally non-computer controlled ski I believe.
I can't say for sure it would work on your particular ski, but I can't see why not, it already has all the sensors and pick-ups for the required computer inputs because it's already computer controlled.
