Okay so its a 1989 Sea Doo SP with the 587 engine I'm assuming. He said he took it to the local power sports shop (Side note: the same shop that told the person I bought my ski from that it needed a starter and relay when it actually needed an ignition coil and carb diaphragm) apparently they told him it "probably needs an engine rebuild". Would it be worth it even if it did need a rebuild or would it be better to engine replace/swap? Honestly might not even need a rebuild maybe just a carb kit and spark plugs. What are your thoughts?

He only wants $375 for it without a battery... Whats a good, easy, and cheap engine swap for this ski? Or should I just rebuild (assuming it needs it.)

Engine is also yellow from what I can tell, not sure if this helps with determining motor size.
