My friend recently got a 2001 GP 1200 R and talked me into buying a 2000 GP 1200 R since I like his so much...
I usually do more research on stuff like this before I buy it, but honestly it was an Impulse buy after I had so much fun on his the last two weekends...
I'm completly new to Wave Runners.... I've been out maybe 4-5 times at most...
1st Couple of Questions are...
Is there a site that would have the specs and details on the older rides, like the 2000 and 2001???? I'd like to know more (all I can) about it...
2nd, Do these have to run on the Yamalube oil or is there another oil thats just as good for cheaper? If not, thats fine... I'd rather spend a bit more and get the right stuff, but I don't want to needlessly spend money...
3rd, there are tons of ATV, motorcycle and truck rags. Are there any for Wave Runners? I know I've got tons to learn and I might as well do some mroe reading...
If things go my way, I get to pick mine up in the morning...
I'll post some pics if I do, but it won't be anything exciting, same thing you all have seen hundreds of times or more...
