You can put a voltmeter set on the lowest range, and connect to ground and the sensor lead you should see fluctuations when you spin the wheel. That will let you know the sensor works
Dead Speedo
I have a 1997 750 zxi. The speedo no longer works. Is there a way where I can find out if the speed sensor is bad or the gauge is bad. I have a multimeter. What can I check. Hope someone can help!! Thanks
