so a couple weeks back i just finished replacing the were ring to my 1993 sea doo gtx. when i got it in the water every thing was working great till about 2 mins gos by and the exhaust popped off(where the exhaust cone and the C looking pipe that comes off the engine). so i took it to shore and there was a splendid amount of water coming out of the exhaust in to the seadoo. so i put the exhaust back together and sure enough it came off agen!

i just looked to see if any of the hoses were backwards but every thing looked right. does any one no what the deal is here or if i should be looking for a perticuler hose that might be backwards?

thanks , seaman

I'm having this same problem with my SX650. I removed the expansion chamber and the muffler to see if it was plugged with something. It isn't. It's all clean an clear. I susspect too much water is getting into the can, or not enough is getting out. But I have no idea how to test or correct the problem.

Keep in touch. When I find some info, I'll let you know.
