I have a 2003 GPR 1300. There are 3 mounting points for the exhaust manifold to the engine. Recently one of them broke off in the manifold and the other two were very loose. I tightened up the two good ones and after a few runs both cracked off. Ouch. As you know the two upper ones are part of the engine head so this really sucks. My question is why would this happen? Is the engine vibrating too much for some reason? It seemed to be running fine right up to that point. I don't want to invest the time/money into trying to fix it only to have it crack off new mounts. Any thoughts? Thanks. Chuck.

Radiomd, welcome to the forum.

Check your motor mounts. One or more may be broken causing excessive motor movement.
