I have just finished disassembling a 2006 f-12x. The reason is due to flooding. It almost sunk because the plastic exhaust tube near the outlet melted and kept the flap open. The motor was completely submerged. I was able to get it running again but only with 75-80 psi compression. Someone on this forum suggested that the rings were probably collapsed because of corrosion and they were 100% accurate. I am replacing the rings and pistons. Otherwise the motor looks in pretty good shape except for some mild discoloration on the crankshaft rod and main bearing positions. It's smooth and I am wondering if the slight discoloration is anything to be concerned with? I will include some pictures. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
