Hi All,

I have just bought a 2004 Yamaha Waverunner FX160, overall I am really pleased and all seems to be running well however I am a little concerned about the top speed.
I am only able to get about 53mph out of it on flat water.
Could someone please tell me what top speed they get from their fx160?

(not too bothered about the speed, just want to know if something is not quite right!)

Thanks in advance

Actually that model should be running around 59-60 mph. Are you measuring speed with the speed-o-meter........it is often off by 5+ mph. Check your speed with radar or a gps before you worry about other potential issues.
