I have just had the carbs and a service done at a yamaha dealers. it now idles at 4k out of water and 2k+ in the water (not tachographed it just reading the rev display). The exhaust gas temp warning lamp sounds after 30 mins run time, has happened 3 times now in succession whilst in the water. (never did b4 service/carbs).

The drive bearing grease nipple(I think) that normally sits mounted on engine in front of the airbox was just tucked under the engine when I got the ski back so I'm a little dubious about the workmanship.

Can I simply adjust the trolling screw to adjust idle? what may be causing the exhaust alarm?

any help appreciated
