hi guys, just joined up, great board! i have a 1993 waverunner VXR pro, runs great but the last couple times i had it out it was taking on lots of water, so i backed it into the lake, left it on the trailer and opened the hood and ran it, it has about 3 or 4 spots spraying from the water box. i am having a really hard time finding a water box so i was wondering if anyone can give me some advise. first what is the main purpose of the water box and 2nd can i delete it just by running a straight pvc pipe or something similar?

No you cant delete it. you could try looking for a xl700 or raider 700 water box. Same thing.

okay so i have it out and all apart and basically it is a muffler with one baffle in it, i talked to a buddy of mine and he is going to fab up an aluminum one for me, i was wondering if any one has ever just used a car muffler? a flow master looks like the same thing, strange idea i know but might work in a pinch!!
