I have a 96 polaris SL700 w dual Keihin CDK II carbs.

Trying to do a carb rebuild and replace the needle and seat, I cant figure out how to get the old seat out...

Do I have to hammer it out? Im just worried because it is brass and will scar badly if I hit on it. Is there a certain side I should try to hit out from? Any ideas?

the seat is inside #22 (jet block),

#28 (orings) attach to the end of the seat,,

#20 (needle) goes in the seat

There is no # pointing to the seat itself,, but they have it for sale at sbtontheweb???

That prolly is a press fit - IMO - I think I would leave it in and just replace the needle - Yeah, I know - it's generally best to replace needle/seat together when you have a leaking condition - BUT usually it's the tip of the needle that has worn a groove in it and that is the usual cause of the leak.
