Hi all,

I'm new here so be easy on me LOL. My first time working on a jetski. 98 1100 stx. How do you turn the engine by hand? Also, can someone point me in the direction of a free site or link so I can work on this engine. Thanx all.

Why do you want to turn the engine over by hand? Just curious. Is there a reason for it that you need to?

...Because it wouldn't crank under power. I took the cover off the pistons and found all three cylinders are mucked up and frozen. It must have got sea water in it somehow. It is not mine, just told a buddy I would look at it.

How hard are these to rebuild? Doesn't look to hard with the bible, but is it worth it is the question. I'm sure the carbs are shot too. Anyhoo, thanx for the reply...
