Does anyone have experience with the failure of the rubber mooring plugs used on the Hydroport Extreme PWC port? In Spring 2018 changed from Hydroport 2XL to the Extreme to accommodate newer, larger hull PWC like Seadoo S3 hull. The two new Extreme ports were mounted exactly in same place as 5 year old 2XL's and it is considered 'rough water', mounting on a floating dock. The Extreme mounting is different in that two rubber mooring plugs are used. The original mooring plugs failed after one season; Hydrohoist provided new designed plugs which failed within 14 days. Have sent videos and failed parts to Hydrohoist and only reply is that I may be only one of a couple of failures and only solution is to move mounting location to shield from wave action.
