I opened the Daily Press, my local newspaper, to find a picture that I took last weekend on the inside front page. I have taken a lot of pictures of the harbor seals hanging around the islands of the Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel while I have been out there fishing the last couple of weeks.
Last week my brother called me and said one of my pictures was in the Richmond Times Dispatch. That is a picture that I won honorable mention in the first and only photo competion I have had entered last year. Scenic Virginia, Inc. I took that picture in my backyard as the sun was rising.
