Hello I bought a floating Polyethylene boat dock: website
HydroHoist Floating Boat Lift PWC Lifts and HydroPort Jetski Platforms - Official Web Site

I do not know the actual chemical makup of the product.

It has a 4 inch thin cut in the bottom and I was hoping I could melt this back together by adding some material to it and melting it onto the cut.
Or using the Home Depot expanding foam at the cut sight to fill it in and seal it.

Any help or ideas would be wonderful!!!

Your best bet is RVT silicon. That stuff bonds to anything and is cheap. Another way to do it would be regular outdoor caulking. Hope this helps
