I just bought a kawasaki 650sx (standup). It needs a new battery but other than that its in good shape. for some reason when cooled down or going slow when the exhaust port(i think thats what you call it) is submerged it doesnt accelerate. i just put new plugs in and fresh gas. it has a double carb and one side doesnt have a filter, would this cause the problem. And would the bad battery add to the problem. im new to this forum and sport so i figured the more detail the easier to figure out.

P.S. Im sorry if i posted wrong

Thankyou, Kyle

the battery should have nothing to do with this. it sounds like when you are going the slow the motor is loading up with the oil from running to rich so when you go to accelerate its flooded with oil. it probablly sputters and will eventually accelerate right?

yea you got it ...im running it 40:1. and just the other day when i got home and went to flush it out it open throttled but the throttle cable wasn't stuck. Even more strange is that the kill switched didnt work while it was going.

thankyou very much for the help
