Hey folks,
I'm new to the forum and reletively new to jet skis and jet ski repair. I'm trying to do my own repairs before surrendering and taking it to a shop.
I've got a 750zxi that doesn't have any get up and go.
It fires up and sounds fine, but once I get on it and try to take off from the dock it chokes itself out and kills the engine.
I've had people (who haven't seen it) try to diagnose the problem and they tell me I need to clean the carbuerator. Do any of the experts here have other opinions?
Like I said, it sounds great on the start, but slowly starts sputtering down until it dies. Also, if I get on it and try to take off, it sounds like it will, but just never gets going, until it dies.
Is this something that a novice can handle?
Thanks for the help.
