you have a water separator
look for it from the fuel lines coming out of the tank

Kawasaki fuel filter
Would it be best if my 1996 Kawasaki 11zxi had a fuel filter? It won't perform under a load just 5 hours after a carb rebuild. If so, then where could I get the correct filter?

That's the funny thing. I've traced the fuel supply from the top of the tank straight to the rear carb. I've seen a picture in a repair manual that shows what the separator looks like, so I don,t think I'm missing it. What a bout a filter? Is my model serviced by a separator that also acts as the filter? Or should I have both?
