Hey Guy, I'm new here. Looking for some advise. I have a 2016 Kawasaki Ultra 310XSE.
Since I have lots of time on my hands I decided to service my machine. At the end of last season I did not winterize the machine. I live in SC. Specifically I did not fog the motor. I'm in the process of an oil service and new plugs. While I have the plugs out someone suggested I spray a small amount WD-40 into the plug hole to protect the piston rings at start up, Sounded like a good idea so I when ahead and did this then thought better of it. Did I screw up? Will this affect the new plugs? Should I put the old plugs back in to fire it up and clear the WD-40? Anyone have experience with this?
Ride safe and thanks so much!
