I have a question who everyone who keeps their PWCs in hurricane prone coastal areas:

I am thinking of moving my Seadoo from where I live in Pennsylvania to a family vacation condo in the Naples, Florida area. This condo complex has a marina with dry-docks for the PWCs. While I love riding up in Pennsylvania, I no longer have enough time to ride it here and I'll get more use out of it if it goes to Florida.

My question is what do most of you do for your skis if there is a major hurricane/storm that requires evacuation? Most of the boaters seem to pay for a service that picks up your boat and stores it. Seems expensive/unnecessary for a PWC. Wouldn't insurance cover any loss? Sorry if this seems like a stupid question.

All boat insurance policies have a higher deductible for "named storms" (ie hurricanes) - usually $2000.
