I have a 2001 Kawasaki that has a leak in the hull around the housing of the propeller shaft. Its the section of aluminum housing that penetrates the fiberglass hull and leads to the prop. The original epoxy that holds the aluminum housing has developed a leak. I was recommended the 3M 4200 product. I cleaned and then coated the area with a large tube of 4200 and still had the leak. It appears either I don't put enought product on and the water pressure pushed though, or I didn't allow it to cure enough, or its not the right product. Anyone else have this problem?
