Cisco is a world leader in networking products and is an authority on the subject. For the benefit of the networking professionals, the company has introduced a whole range of certification courses that include CCNA, CCIE, CCDA, CCNP etc. among various others. The Cisco Certification Exam is attempted in three stages, which starts from associate level to the expert level.
The lowest level of certification is the Associate level certification, which is ideal for entry-level networking professionals. Any networking professional interested in achieving other certifications needs to get certified in this level, first and foremost. The next tier on the Cisco certification is the professional level. There are also two paths to this level namely the Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) and the Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP).
The Expert level is the hardest of all levels and therefore, considered the toughest of all. There are only a handful of people who have this certification. The professionals holding this certification are respected by IT industry all over the world.
