I have a 1994 Waverunner III which I just purchased a few weeks ago and this is my first post :D.

When I make turns around full throttle, it will start to lose power unless you start going straight again. If you take a turn at full throttle for too long it will stay at half power until you stop completely and wait a few seconds. This effect occurs more often when towing someone in a inner tube. I haven't even run a full tank through it, so there may be water in the fuel, but it feels more like an issue under load.

I sprayed some seafoam into the carb throat which made a noticeable difference. I thought it was something to do with the cable line loosening, but it feels like it happens when under more load (turns, towing). It misfires pretty regularly too, maybe need new plugs?

I have not checked the compression yet. Any other suggestions on what I should be looking at next time I have a day to play with it?
