I have a 1997 Monte Carlo 770. Started and ran fine about 2 months ago. Tried starting it yesterday and nothing, not even a clicking noise nothing. Switched to a different battery that was fully charged and same results. Any ideas what what to check next?

Thanks,
K.C.

It's in the wire harness. Look at the ad. The fuse holder is what's disconnected, but wired to the harness (the big black plastic piece).

It could also be the start stop switch. It's common for the contacts to have corrosion or get burnt. Just take it apart and lightly sand the contacts with 1000 or 2000 grit paper. Be sure and clean them with rubbing alcohol after and let it dry before reassembly.
