Hi folks. I am a soon-to-be PWC owner, and I need some advice. Question 1: Should I get a 3-seat or a 2-seat? I will be generally cruising and having fun. Not a racer, but I might be jumping waves, etc. I am a healthy, fit 60 year old rider, but I don't want to be bashed by the chop.

Question 2: I have been looking at Sea Doo RXT, RXT-X, RXP-X, and Yamaha FX SHO. From what I can tell from reading this forum the SHO is probably preferred to the Sea Doo X models because of handling and the fact that I am not interested in having the fastest boat on the water--at least not yet. Any thoughts to add?

For what you are looking to do, I, in my opinion would get a used three seater. The extra seat space makes it more comfortable. Once you get use to how a ski handles and maneuvers, then you can upgrade. JMO
