check the cells in your battery possible bad cell, or chect the voltage to your battery coming from the alternator should be around 12.7 to 14.1volts for a dead battery, or see if there is a charging fuse that may have blown i had that issue with my fx140. battery had a dead cell and it kept blowing the charging fuse. dont know if that will help but just some ideas.

Appreciate that but I already tried a second new battery. I believe the charging coil is in the PCM. Has anyone replaced their own PCM? How would you MAP it? Original software or this model was on a FLOPPY DISK
