i would say first get.....
intake grate
ANGLED ride plate
flame arrestors
heads
jetting if need be
reeds/stuffers
ignition...which will raise your rpm limit
impeller
pump shoe plugs/blueprinting
pump cone
hull truing (sanding)
..............these are the starting points.......
from there you can do exhaust,porting,boring, new lighter pistons, t/w crank
the list could go on forever.......
